Beaulieu Camera Group

Beaulieu Camera Group was formed in 1996 and has approximately 30 members from beginners to very experienced and talented photographers. We have been very fortunate to have received grants from The Common Good Trust to put towards equipment that we would otherwise have been unable to purchase. This includes four sets of print display boards, blackout blinds, a new digital projector and laptop and calibration equipment and software that are essential in today’s electronic world.

Beaulieu Cricket Club

Cricket has been played in Beaulieu for over 170 years, and on the existing field for more than 100. The management committee intend to keep this tradition going for many more years to come. We are very proud of our work with disability cricket and it is heart-warming to see the progress, the enjoyment and the increase in confidence of disabled people in playing this amazing amateur sport. We have been privileged to gain sponsorship from the Beaulieu Common Good Trust, which has enable us to purchase new ground maintenance equipment. Thank you.

Waterside Ecumenical Foodbank Project

The Waterside Foodbank provides essential support in our local area. It supported 3,615 people in crisis giving them three-day emergency food supplies in the year to 31 March 2024. The chair of the Foodbank said: "Waterside Foodbank has been very grateful for the generous donations we have received from the Beaulieu Common Good Trust. These grants have enabled us to provide extra essential items, for example fresh bread, for clients in addition to the basic food hampers we issue."

The Beaulieu Warblers

The Beaulieu Warblers are a small friendly group who meet regularly on Thursday evenings in Beaulieu Village School for the joy and pleasure that can be gained from singing together under their director Robin Phillips and supported by their accompanist Leigh Jerwood. Proceeds from concerts support various local organisations and charities most recently the Rose Road Association, The Countryside Education Trust, 'Eye Sight', Wessex Cancer Trust and the Beaulieu Village Primary School. As a not-for-profit organisation The Beaulieu Warblers are self-funding and have benefited from grants from the Beaulieu Common Good Trust to subsidise the ever increasing cost of music and to keep subscriptions at a level that means the Warblers are accessible to all.
